Why Sexual Jealousy Is Not Natural
Is it natural to feel jealous when you get cheated on or when your mate has sex with another individual? Absolutely not! People feel jealous about so-called infidelity because our culture and society make it so. Jealousy is rooted in insecurity, fear, and the need to control another human being. Men often feel sexual jealousy because they are insecure and have performance anxiety and worry about another man fucking their woman better or having a bigger dick. Women often feel sexual jealousy because they are insecure and have a belief that are not "good enough" if their man desires another women. In societies based on ownership and private property and monogamy, jealousy will be a huge aspect of relationships even more so given that just about all people in this society struggle from huge underlying feelings of personal inadequacy. Sexual jealousy has always really been rooted in the control of female sexuality which originated 10,000 years during the development of agriculture when men sought to control women's sex lives in order to ensure paternity. So this type of jealousy and possessive sexual obsession that people have over their partners and their sex lives has been around for less than 5 percent of human existence. We all feel jealous but it is important to understand that this is a conditioned response not a natural one.
